In partnership with other agencies and through our own programmes, Leisureworks is committed to engaging with local groups and offering top quality activities out and about in the community.  Ongoing at the moment is the Try Five project; the Derwentside Community Network and the Community Sports Coach schemes, and the Derwentside Lifestyle Initiative - all of which encourage children, young people and their families, as well as the over 50's to become involved in various physical activity programmes.

New to this popular and growing timetable of activity is a new PLAY RANGER scheme to be launched over the summer holiday period.  Information can be found in the list opposite.
