EVERY MONDAY: Summertime park activity days for all the family. Activities include bouncy castles, inflatable slides, arts and crafts, magic show and walkabout, music, climbing wall, soft play, face painter (extra charge), games area, sports area, archery, ice cream van (extra charge) and giant games!

EVERY WEDNESDAY: Celebrate Love Parks Week by working with artist Paul Belcher to create weird and wacky artworks based around the theme of park life. Workshops will run from the park classroom and from the bandstand depending on weather conditions. At Blackhill & Consett Park.

FAMILY TRIP: On the banks of the River Till, this is the only working water-driven cornmill in Northumberland which continues a tradition that stretches back over 700 years on this site. The fully restored mill machinery still makes high quality, stoneground, wholemeal flour from wheat grown in the surrounding fields, and visitors can explore the building, watch the milling process from beginning to end and see our 21st-Century millers at work.
