Kalapremi invites you to the multi-cultural event, the annual Ganesh Festival on Saturday 18th September 2010. This fun-filled day celebrates the Indian festival of the much-loved elephant-headed deity, Ganesh.
Loved for his gigantic and gentle looks, Ganesh is also considered to bring prosperity and knowledge. The day will start with a customary ‘pooja’ or an offering to Lord Ganesh, followed by scrumptious food, Indian dance, Indian music and much more. The day will also have art workshops and participatory activities for everyone in the family.
Tickets: £7 full / £4 concs. Children under 5 free
